I finally finished my very first yearbook ever! I've started one for each year, but the truth of the matter is, 2012 is the first year I was actually organized enough to stay on top of it and finish it! You may remember when I started it here! My trick was that I emptied my camera card EVERY week (I picked Sunday as the day to do it) and then did the page for that week right away. Super simple - even if I missed a week, it was easier to do 2 pages than an entire year :)

I did get pregnant and very sick at the end of the year (October) and so the last few months, all I did was my journalling blurb for each week, and I did the pictures later when the nausea had passed. Because digital images are dated (as long as the calendar settings in your camera are correct :)) it was still pretty easy to stay organized and put the pictures into the right place :)

I ordered my book with the matte finish and stuck with white end pages. When it arrived, I couldn't stop looking at it! My hubby made fun of me, because I had just spent the previous week staring at it on the computer making sure every detail was perfect :) But it is SO much more fun seeing your work in a published, beautifully bound album!

Gorgeous Matte Cover:

A regular 2-week spread - some of my favorite pictures :) I can't get enough!!

And for each Holiday or Event, I had a special 2page spread of pictures and often journalling - Christmas and Easter got TWO 2-page spreads, because we had so many wonderful pictures that I didn't want to leave out :) And other special days like Birthdays and Preschool Graduation... ah! So much fun :)

Let me know if you need any help making your own! SO much fun, and what a wonderful gift for your family!
