Birthdays are the perfect time to let loved ones know they are cared for and appreciated. Whether they are soccer, zoo or robot fans, or pink, purple or zebra lovers; you’ll find their favorite party themes in the HM Template Gallery. Honor them with their style of birthday gifts, greetings and décor, and for years to come, they’ll remember the time you took to personalize and craft their special celebrations.

Start it off Right
Baby will only remember her first birthday through photos and stories. But when she is older, this first celebration of her life will be an important measure of how much you cared. Be sure that this delightful occasion is marked with invitations, thank you notes and favors as special as she is. “HM Our Sweet Girl” 5 x 7 Invitation, Template 103198; “HM Our Sweet Girl Thanks You” 4 x 6 Greeting Card, Template 103197; “HM Our Sweet Girl” Address Labels, Template 103196; and “HM Our Sweet Girl Candy” Address Labels, Template 103195 are all by Roxanne Buchholz and have a decidedly feminine touch. Use them for your daughter's first, fifteenth or twenty-first birthdays. The vertical candy labels are designed for use with Hershey Nuggets. HM Address Labels wrap perfectly around the silver or gold Nuggets to make a personalized party favor. (Some Nugget labels wrap from the center, some are designed to adhere clear across the bottom first. Check to see which way your Nugget label wraps.)

For the Younger Girl or Boy
If the little one in your life loves the zoo, Roxanne’s coordinated “Party at the Zoo” birthday set may be just the ticket. “HM Party at the Zoo” 7 x 5 Invitation, Template 95792; “HM Party at the Zoo Thanks” 6 x 4 Greeting Card, Template 95791; “HM Party at the Zoo Address Labels,” Template 102974 (to go on the invitation envelopes); “HM Party at the Zoo Address Candy Labels,” Template 102975 (for your Hershey Nugget candy favors); and “HM Party at the Zoo Toppers” 12 x 12 Scrap Page, Template 102973 make a themed set that will long be remembered. The “toppers” are circles on a 12 x 12 Scrap Page. You can cut them out with scissors, but save yourself time and invest in the 2-inch paper punch Roxanne designed them for. Sandwich two of them around a white lollipop stick (safer for the small guests) or a toothpick (if your guests are older) and use them to decorate your cupcakes. Add baby’s name or age in a coordinating color for additional customization.

Themes for Any Age or Any Interest
If you searched “birthday” and didn’t find what you were looking for, go back and search on the topic you are featuring. You’ll find a wealth of robot, Lego, spaceship, pets and other themed gifts and greetings in our gallery. Some may have been designed for Valentine’s or Father’s Day, but remember, with HM templates, everything can be customized! Simply change the back of the Valentine business card “URGR8 Valentine” by Sandra Dovre, Template 78289 to read “Thank you for coming to my party,” and use it as a picture-personalized tag on those goodie bags. Also shown here: “Building Dreams” 7.5 x 10 Storybook by Roxanne Buchholz, Template 58147; “Happy Botday” 7 x 5 Greeting Card by Cassie Balser, Template 76498 and “Building a Birthday Party” 6 x 4 Invitation, Template 58144 also by Roxanne.

Gifts AND Greetings
Many of our template sets have gift AND greeting card potential. If you have teen or tween girls in the middle of the zebra craze, create a zebra gift book with Template 86678. It’s an 8 x 8 Storybook called “15 Years of Alyssa.” Or, craft a zebra gift clock withTemplate 103314, “Teen Zebra Clock,” made from an 8 x 8 Scrap Page; make a gift mug or a phone cover with Template 92833, “Zebra Phone” iPhone 4/4s Case Landscape and Template 92826, “Zebra Mug Love Mug,” or simply send a “Wild Side Birthday” 5 x 5 Top-fold Greeting Card, Template 93541.

Gift Cards for Family and Friends
And if you’re sending a child off to a birthday party, consider these wonderful little gift card holders by Lori Lourens. “Tiger Gift Card” Template 94445, “Hippo Gift Card” Template 94446 and “Lion Gift Card” Template 94444, are all very inexpensive 4 x 8 Photo Cards. Cut across the lines and the animal heads on the front of the card, and fold and tape the remaining part of the card, and you have a clever pop-up gift card for the birthday boy or girl. Instructions are included inside the template.
