I've had several people ask me how to get their pictures in a perfect circle - sometimes it's a pain to crop and re-crop, over and over again in the hopes of getting that perfect circle!
Here is my secret: start with a background paper. Don't worry about what the paper looks like, any old piece of paper will do (they are all square!)
Then, go to your "effects" tab in your toolbox, and grab the slider under "Round Corners" and slide it all the way to the right. This will create a perfect circle from your perfect square.
**Note: If you stretch your circle larger, you will have to re-do the "Round Corners", as the number of degrees of the round corners will also need to increase. Just slide the tab back to the right. :)
A little extra: try adding a few extra effects, such as a Border or a Drop Shadow...
... Because if you want to have multiple circles with all of the same formatting, you may as well get the formatting done first, and THEN Copy and Paste, because all of your edits will copy and paste too!
Once you've got your circles where you want them, Lock them.
Some of the best designs happen when you're only thinking about design and not the pictures. Not to say that this is fabulous, but I did have fun :)
But the point is, once you've got your circles LOCKED, it is a simple thing to then go to your pictures and drag-and-drop them where your circles are. Voila! Perfect circles for your pictures :)
Happy Storybooking!
