So you’ve just completed a Heritage Makers project and you can’t wait to show if off to your friends… so how do you share it on Facebook?
First, login to your Heritage Makers account
(if you don’t have one, create a free one here)
Click on “my projects & templates”.
Find your project in the “view completed” list.
Click on “view” to launch the preview.
Click on the green “share” button at the top right.
Click on the “on a web page or blog” tab at the top.
Highlight and Copy the link in the bottom box.
Next, login to Facebook and head over to your profile page or your fan page.
1) Type in a little blurb about your project – what it is, who its for, etc.
2) Click on the “link” icon and then paste in the link you copied.
3) Click the blue “Share” button and it will post on Facebook.
Voila!
You can also save individual page spreads of your project as jpgs and post those as well!
To save a jpg of your preview, enter into edit mode for your project.
Click “view” from the top menu bar.
Then select “print preview”.
Next click the “download” button and this will save the current page or 2-page spread into a jpg.
Now you’re all set to upload it to Facebook!
