Are you looking for ideas to get your kids involved and excited about family?Chris Crandall created an "I Am a Heritage Maker" activity book for her kids. I think it would be a fun idea to have at a Family Reunion - a copy for all of the kids there too, if possible!
With this softbound/spiral bound book, the kids can go on a "family scavenger hunt" and after finding out about their heritage and completing activities, they earn a sticker. There are 10 stickers that can be earned in all - you can even add more places and adjust the template however you wish. Chris gave it an "I Spy" kind of feel. They even search for the letters to spell "heritage" along the way. All of the instructions are on the first two pages of the book.
By the end of the book, kids of all ages will discover and know more about where they come from, who they are and how they can affect the heritage of the future.
